Automatic Collision Notification
Service description
If your vehicle’s airbags deploy or if the sensor installed on your vehicle detects that the vehicle is severely impacted, your vehicle will automatically attempt to connect to the call center. Once connected, information about your vehicle, its location, and its condition will be sent to the call center where an Emergency Response Specialist at the Mitsubishi Connect Call Center can work with the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (911 center) for emergency response.

Automatic connection to the call center is made based on the vehicle's airbag deployment and severity of impact. However, not all collisions are reported to the call center automatically. In such cases, you can press the SOS Button to connect to the call center manually.

Once connected to the call center automatically, users can request the call center not to forward the information to law enforcement authorities and/or medical services.

The factory-installed audio system is muted during calls with the call center.

If the registration is not completed beforehand, the system will emit a sound indicating that the call center cannot be connected. Refer to the vehicle owner's manual for details.
