Service description

If the vehicle's alarm system is emitted due to someone tampering with the lock on your vehicle, the Alarm Notification will notify the user regarding the matter via their device.

Note

  • Please note that all Safeguard and Remote services are subject to cellular network availability. When cellular network coverage is poor, Alarm Notification may not function properly.

  • If Alarm Notification does not function, confirm that the enabled notification includes the alarm notification.

  • Alarm Notification will notify abnormal activity detection to the primary and secondary user.

  • If the Alarm Notification is set to (OFF), the user will not be notified.

  • Events and items that will be notified via Alarm Notification can be changed. (Refer to "Setting notifications from your mobile app" and "Setting notifications from the owner portal")

  • If the vehicle's alarm system is emitted, the alarm can be switched off by executing a remote operation (Door Lock and Door Unlock) from your mobile app.
